Q: The last four days my gums between the top front two teeth have been swollen and sore. I brush and floss daily. What could it be? It is also swollen behind the teeth but very isolated within the 1/2 inch area.
A: I would suggest you see a Periodontist to evaluate the area. Do you remember any food lodging in this area? Have you ever experienced this before?
