Why are my gums above my front teeth turning white?

Q: I don’t smoke or do any other rubbish, I brush my teeth regularly (2 times a day), but for some reason they are turning white. Is it an infection or lack of vitamins?

A: I would call your periodontist and have a thorough exam and review of your medical and dental history. Do you take any medications? Any systemic diseases? As you can see there are many factors that can affect the gum tissues.
