Q: Can I receive gum laser surgery without the removal of metal braces?
A: Yes, it is possible to perform laser gum surgery with metal braces if we are presented with that clinical situation. However, it might be helpful if the wires were removed. We have done laser surgery successfully on our orthodontic cases with and without the wires.
