Q: Dr. Linden,
I had LANAP treatment and misunderstood the instructions. I brushed and flossed two days after treatment removing all of the clotting around my teeth. Will this diminish the effectiveness of the treatment? Also, is it possible to have the LANAP treatment a second time?

A: It is possible that there was a “disruption” of the healing process because of the premature brushing and flossing at day #2. Yes, it is also possible to have LANAP a second time. Please call us if you feel you would like to be seen and evaluated.
